Starting to contribute is pretty easy. Just register an account and go ahead. You might want to take a look at page standards first, though. Also, please do not use HTML markup in wiki, unless there's a really good reason for that. (Mixing wiki markup with html makes it hard to process the content automatically). Here's a wiki markup reference.

There's a number of issues with which one could help on PIHwiki. Here are some:

1. Need to re-create infobox template, and apply that template to all main game pages. See the attached screenshot for how it's supposed to look, and compare to current Icewind Dale page.
Also, adding slight zebra to infobox table would probably be beneficial.

2. Proper formatting of main game pages:
- First section should be called "Overview information"
- It should contains the infobox, a screenshot (if present) and some description.
- Only after that goes Table of contents and other sections.

3. Add wanted pages. Just pick any you feel confident talking about and go ahead, create it.

4. Add missing files. A few files are missing, anyone who happens to have them, please add. Or, a brave soul may just create new ones.

5. Fix dead end pages.

6. Expanding on the previous point, any child page should link back it to its parent, and parent of its parent, up to, but not including root wiki page.

7. Put (main game) pages into proper categories:

8. Put unused files to use. Some files restored from the web archive have no links to them, but they definitely should belong somewhere. If not, delete them.

9. Ensure that every wiki user mention is a link to the corresponding user page - for the sake of completeness.

10. Expand stub guides. Which basically any guide except for Baldur's Gate, Deus Ex 2 and Exile 3.

11. Link youtube videos on main game pages, and those pages put into common category.

12. Fix header levels on all pages. Headers should start with "==" level, not "=".

13. Re-do PIH logo in SVG. It looks much better on any screen.

14. Add/create icons for templates:
* Spoiler
* Powergaming
* Alternative/Disputing opinion

15. And of course, new guides. Any game/guide is welcome, as long as it adheres to PIH standards. More or less, anyway.

This list isn't comprehensive, but it provides a few good starting points. If you got something done, post below to let everyone know.

All right, it's time we got the first completely new article up. Meet Wild Mage Compendium, the ultimate guide to taming wild magic. It still needs some changes, interlinking, but overall it's pretty much complete. Feedback is welcome.

Edit: actually, it's not the first one, Claw of Kazgaroth explanation was added some time before, but I completely forgot about that.

Infobox is fixed (well, more or less - raise your voice if something's off). Now it's waiting to be applied to all main pages.

And now all main articles use infobox.
Also, unused files are cleaned up (mostly these were BG HLA images, re-uploaded by Flashburn)

All of #5's files are already superseded by the ones that are on the arcane spell list. I probably uploaded them under filenames that were easier to use since I didn't want to have to worry about their various symbols (like using Invisibility 10 ft. radius instead of 10' radius, or the *'s next to the Wild Mage exclusive spells since the asterisks were unnecessary).
